In this body of images I explore an alternative photographic process named Bromoil, which consists mainly in painting the silver bromide paper with the help of lithography ink and brushes, given an effect that resembles a painting or etching, being pratically impossible to reproduce two equal images, due to various factors.
I discovered Bromoil in early 2013 and immediately fell in love, dedicating most of my work time in research, development of knowledge and technique in the matter. With this new way of approaching photography I got a chance of entering a pictorial and handcrafted world, detouring from a more faithful representation, which gives an imprecise and oneiric touch to the images that pleases me greatly, and prove myself to be a beautiful new away of aproaching photography.
